How's My Driving?

[ A pause then a sound of something perhaps being kicked rather harshly and a cracking sound. Whatever inanimate object that was subjected to his abuse it most likely did not deserve it. There's silence once more before he growls out something under his breath making it very hard to hear ]

[ There's a soft static when the audio clicks on suddenly. It crackles as if warming itself into life after not being used for quite some time. There is only the noise of the device recording itself but otherwise there is silence for a good few minutes. Then there is the sound of footsteps coming down the hallway steadily becoming louder and louder. The noise stops quite abruptly and is followed by the noise of a door being wrenched open roughly before the pacing begins again.

Anyone who knows him will likely know who is walking just from the pace and weight of those boots on the hard wood and if not the signature clink-clink of the chain at his hip will no doubt give it away completely.

He seems to walk toward the communicator and right past it until another door is heard opening. There's a pause and then a sigh. ]

... Still asleep, huh?

[ The door closes notably more quietly than it was opened and it sounds like he's stalking back across the room and slumping into something soft, the couch perhaps.

He doesn't seem to have noticed that the communicator is on and transmitting at all.]

[ooc; Okay, I'm going to assume Heine has been around but he's not been in the literal apartments all that much. He's likely been stalking around the town, trying to find some stuff out and going out of his way to be actively more anti-social than usually. But he is back now~ Feel free to alert him that he left his communicator on or something ;p ]

[ There's a harsh crackling sounds, the communicator not sounding like it is in particularly good health and as a result it makes his voice hard to hear indeed. ]

[ There's a few harsh bashing sounds and then the communicator seems to breath its last breath and die completely. Whoever said smacking things to get them to work was wrong. Heine has a bad track record with communicators :( ]

[ The feed clicks on and there is a very faint tapping kind of sound, something soft and flat sounding making a repetitive movement quite close to the microphone. So he's started the feed without really knowing what he wants to say. Or rather, knowing what he wants to say but not how to do it.

The tapping stops then and there's a shifting, a creaking of wood and the sound of fabric, clothing most likely, before there is silence once more. And then a low exhale quite close the communicator which is obviously from his mouth rather than through his nose. ]

I'm looking for Nill. Anyone seen her?

[ There's a sound as though he's shifting again, seemingly he is generally uncomfortable about the whole communicating thing. Who knew. ]

Also... You seemed more than a little out of sorts with that mask. You back with us, or do I have the excuse to track you down still?

Or-- [ A pause, and yet another shifting of weight ] ...did you find him, Naoto?

Tch...

So. About getting ou--

[ There's a sudden rattling noise all around and the feed changes to a visual as there's the abrupt sound of curtains pulling right open open. The camera is positioned in a way that only a section of Heine's face can be seen - just a section of his mouth, part of his jaw, and one of his eyes staring off in the direction of the room's main light source which has changed from relatively dark when the video started to at least a little bit lighter.

He stares for a long few seconds in complete silence and then the transmission dies. ]

[ There's is a few moments of silence, then a noise like someone shifting their weight and pacing around a few steps. A pause. Then there is the sound of a few more steps worth of walking around, each movement seemingly accompanied by a faint jingling noise before the walking around stops once again followed by a couple of light tapping noises like someone jabbing a fingertip against a microphone. Then there's another pause and a short, unimpressed huff. ]

A communicator, huh.

Well, if that's how it is... What is this place and why is it so noisy?

[ETA OOC; If anyone feels like they wish to mention hearing gunshots either in the appartments in general or over the audio of the network before static sets in then please feel free to do so. Heine kinda sorta shot his device a ~~bit~~ lot :) ]
